GRAND PRAIRIE—Season tickets to Texas Family Musicals at Grand Prairie’s Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St., are now available. The 2013 season show lineup is as follows: Saturday, Feb. 9 – 8 p.m.
Broadway at the Uptown
Marie Danvers and Rob Gallagher sing favorites from Phantom of the Opera, The Fantasticks, South Pacific, Le Miserables and Rebecca Saturday, March 30 – 8 p.m.
Johnny Crawford and the Johnny Crawford Orchestra
Former star of The Rifleman TV series directs his 18 piece orchestra and sings in a fun 20’s and 30’s romantic concert. Friday, May 10-Saturday, May 11- 2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
The Marvelous Wonderettes
The smash off-Broadway hit that took New York by storm. Friday, June 28-Saturday, June 29 – 2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. each day Red Skelton’s American Way
Friday, July 12-Saturday, July 13 All Shook Up
Set in the 1950s, this musical features rock & roll music favorites. Friday, July 26-Saturday, July 27 – 2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. each day
The Roy Orbison Experience
The ultimate tribute show Friday, Aug. 9-Saturday, Aug. 10 – 2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. each day
The Night the Music Died
Audience members will be dancing in the aisles to the music of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper as the show takes the audience back to the fateful night when the rock and roll legends performed in their last concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa
