The Grand Prairie Farmers Market has a lineup of upcoming events that are sure to interest all ages. Throughout April, Farmers Market will feature programs to educate and entertain foodies, gardeners, fitness fanatics and more. Check out the April schedule below.
Saturday, April 12
• Chef Otto from Central Market will host a cooking demonstration at 10:30 a.m.
• The Summit Gardening Club will have an array of plants available for sale.
• The Girl Scouts will be on-site to raise awareness and funds.
• A Make It and Take It Rain Barrel Class will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. The class costs $40 for Grand Prairie residents and $55 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required. To sign up, send a check or money order payable to the city of Grand Prairie to:

The Grand Prairie Farmers Market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, honey, pasta, spices, tamales, candles, soaps and much more.
