6th Annual Car and Bike Show: Free to spectators, this event allows enthusiasts to vote for their favorite car or motorcycle, while sampling unique fares from Mixed-Up Burgers and other food and craft vendors at market. Vehicle registration 7-9 a.m., show begins 9 a.m., awards begin at 1 p.m.
Cooking Demonstration: CJ Singleton of Good Spice presents a cooking demo at 10:30 a.m.
Blood Drive: The Carter BloodCare Bus will be at Market Square 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. as part of the World Health Organization’s World Blood Donor Day. All donors will receive a free cake ball handcrafted by Farmers Market’s own Sweet Delights by Dama. Sign up online to donate on June 14.
The Grand Prairie Farmers Market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, honey, pasta, spices, tamales, candles, soaps and much more. The market is open every Saturday, March to December, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
