'The Night the Music Died' Aug. 8-10

Audience members will be dancing in the aisles to the music of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper at The Night the Music Died performed at Grand Prairie’s Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St. The performance schedule is as follows:

Thursday, August 8: 7:30 p.m.
Friday, August 9: 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 10: 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 11: 2:30 p.m.

The Texas Family Musiclas' performance takes the audience back to the fateful night when the rock and roll legends performed in their last concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa. This will be the seventh consecutive year that the show has been with Texas Family Musicals. This year Kevin Kratzke will be playing the legendary Buddy Holly.
