GRAND PRAIRIE— Future and current homeowners will enjoy the city of Grand Prairie’s information-packed Homeownership Fair, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at the Ruthe Jackson Center, 3113 S. Carrier Parkway. This year’s expo will feature educational sessions on how to buy a home, foreclosure prevention, home maintenance, homebuyer assistance programs, mortgage lending, credit repair, weatherization, and more.
Pick a session or stay all day for free food, giveaways and activities for the kids. Children’s activities include sessions on savings and checking, budgeting and credit. Fun activities will include a gaming truck with Xbox and HD flat screens, face painting, balloon artists, on-site radio personalities, and the Waggin’ Wagon mobile pet adoption trailer.
