Grand Prairie Arts Council Announces 35th Anniversary Season

The Grand Prairie Arts Council (GPAC) announces its 2014 theatre season and 35th anniversary season, presenting all shows at GPAC’s performance venue – the Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St. in downtown Grand Prairie.

DreamGirls • Feb. 21-23 & Feb. 28-March 2

Hello, Dolly! • June 13-15 & 20-22
A whirlwind race around NYC at the turn of the 20th century, as we follow the adventures of America's most beloved matchmaker!

Aladdin, Jr. • August 1 & 2
Public performances of GPAC’s Summer in the Arts Musical Theatre Workshop and Production.

Noises Off • Oct. 3-5 & 10-12
Called the funniest farce ever written, a cast of itinerant actors rehearse a flop called Nothing's On, in the plot of this classically comic play.

The Wizard Of Oz • Dec. 5-7 & 12-14
Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy's imagination.
