Charles V. England Public Safety Training Complex
The 23,000-square-foot Charles V. England Public Safety Training Complex opened its doors in 2003 for the purpose of both internal training of our personnel and for host training opportunities on a wide variety of topics for personnel from other departments.
The facility includes a full-size workout room in a separate, enclosed area with a full array of free-weights and nautilus equipment. Also housed within the facility, is a state-of-the-art "Prism" shooting simulator. A large conference room can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 75 persons. For "break-out" sessions or multiple uses, the room can be partitioned with a retractable wall. Additionally, the facility has five state-of-the-art classrooms with seating to accommodate up to thirty students each. All classroom and meeting areas have multiple electronic audio/visual amenities and connections as well as access to wireless Internet (wifi). For those attending from other agencies there are many fine eating establishments and a variety of lodging accommodations available.
