The Grand Prairie Libraries are teaming up with Farmers Market to bring books to life! The Grand Prairie Farmers Market, 120 W. Main St., will host a Dragons Love Tacos day from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1. The event will feature mariachi performances at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., a costume contest and parade at 10 a.m., story time at 11 a.m., bounce houses, face painting, games, adoptable pets and more. And, of course, tacos, salsa and other aptly themed goodies will be available in addition to Farmers Market’s traditional fare. The Dragons Love Tacos event is named for the popular children’s book.
The Grand Prairie Farmers Market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, honey, pasta, spices, tamales, candles, soaps and much more.
