Toll rates for the newest portion of the President George Bush Turnpike are set and will go into effect when the roadway opens. Aligned with the toll rates on the rest of the NTTA facility, TollTag customers traveling on the Western Extension will pay 15.3 cents per mile, while ZipCash customers will pay 50 percent more. The cost difference is due to the higher costs of toll collection associated with ZipCash transactions.
