New Online Reservations for Grand Prairie Lake Parks

NEW ONLINE RESERVATIONS FOR GRAND PRAIRIE LAKE PARKS


GRAND PRAIRIE— Grand Prairie’s Lake Parks on Joe Pool Lake now have an online reservation system for Loyd Park campsites, cabins, and pavilions; and Lynn Creek Park pavilions. To reserve a site, go to https://lakeres.gptx.org/web. If you have recently made a reservation at the parks you will already have a username (your last name) and password (your 10-digit phone number) in the system.

Lynn Creek Park, 5700 Lake Ridge Parkway, features a white sand swimming beach, playground, restrooms, showers, two boat ramps with eight lanes, a concession stand, nearly 100 picnic sites, group picnic pavilions and a sand volleyball court. Lynn Creek Park is currently closed for the winter and will reopen on March 1, 2013.

Loyd Park, 3401 Ragland Road, features 221 campsites, water and electric hookups, camping cabins, picnic areas, large picnic pavilions, a boat ramp, boat dock, swimming beach, volleyball and softball field, hiking, biking and equestrian trails, a paddling trail, canoe and kayak rentals. Loyd Park is open year-round.
