Farmers Market, 120 W. Main St., continues Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 with Holiday Market. The Holiday Market is sure to get everyone in the spirit with handcrafted arts and gift items, reindeer games and piñatas.
On Dec. 14, a selection of "Empty Bowls" will be for sale, made by the talented GPISD elementary, middle and senior high art students and faculty. Proceeds from the bowl sales will be donated to the Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Co-op and to LifeLine Shelter for Families.
The market closes for the winter season Dec. 28 and will reopen the first Saturday in March 2014.
