GET FIT GP TO HOST ‘GUYS NIGHT OUT’ AT QUIKTRIP PARK JUNE 17:
FREE TICKETS TO AIRHOGS GAME, FOCUS ON MEN’S HEALTH MONTH


GRAND PRAIRIE—June is Men’s Health Month, and Get Fit Grand Prairie is hosting “Guys Night Out” at the AirHogs baseball game at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17. The night—free with a Get Fit GP voucher—includes men’s health screenings, kids activity zone, obstacle course, dunk tank, bounce house, prizes and more.

Anyone (not only the guys) with a Get Fit GP voucher will receive a free ticket to the game, redeemable at QuikTrip Park, 1600 Lone Star Parkway. Pick up a voucher at any of the following locations (or print voucher from www.gptx.org/GetFitGP):

Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation Administration building, 400 College St.
Charley Taylor Recreation Center, 601 E. Grand Prairie Rd.
Tony Shotwell Life Center, 2750 Graham St.
Main Library, 901 Conover
Shotwell Branch Library, 2750 Graham St.
Warmack Branch Library, 760 Bardin Rd.
City Hall, 317 College Street
Utility Customer Service, 317 College St.

Redeem the voucher at QuikTrip Park prior to June 17 to receive reserved seating. Redeem the voucher on the night of the event June 17 to receive only available seating.

Get Fit GP is a citywide wellness initiative connecting residents to local resources for improving health through physical fitness and healthy food options. The Get Fit GP website, www.gptx.org/GetFitGP , features tools, tips and community resources encouraging residents to get up, get out and get fit. Get Fit GP community partners include Advanced Physical Medicine, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Camp Gladiator, CareNow, Community Dental Care, ER at Grand Prairie, Grand Prairie ISD, Medical Center Arlington, Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Novo Nordisk, Parkland, Sam’s Club, Subway, Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, UnitedHealthcare, Uplift Education and the YMCA.
