GPISD posted to Facebook: Out of an abundance of caution, GPISD will be closed Wednesday, September 4, 2024, due to the ongoing water issue in the city. All morning extracurricular activities are cancelled as well. We will resume our regular schedule on Thursday.

Please see the map provided by the City of Grand Prairie, regarding Tuesday's water advisory. This is an approximate location; if you live near the area, please avoid using water other than for flushing until further notice.

The City of Grand Prairie has made bottled water available in the front parking lot of City Hall.

WATER ADVISORY: Do not use water north of I20 until further notice
The City of Grand Prairie has detected a foaming agent in the water supply north of I20. Crews are currently investigating the issue and working to isolate the affected area. If you live north of I20 in Grand Prairie, please avoid using water other than for flushing until further notice.
The City will have bottled water distribution stations. Please check gptx.org frequently for specific water pickup locations.
