Jeff Wooldridge is a small-business owner in the heart of the city. Following in his father and mentor Jim Wooldridge's footsteps, who has owned a car business in Grand Prairie for more than 34 years, Jeff was inspired to own and operate his own paint and body shop in Grand Prairie.
Council Member Wooldridge was elected in May 2013 to fill a council seat vacancy for District 6, to serve the remaining two years of that term. Living in District 6 for more than 30 years has given Jeff insight into Grand Prairie’s unique qualities and opportunities for improvement. He is passionate about the city’s progress and wants to lead as a public servant working toward solutions to transportation issues, helping fuel economic growth, and helping decrease crime so that Grand Prairie will be the premier place to live and work.
A long-time Grand Prairie resident, having lived here for more than 35 years, Jeff is an active member in the Rotary Club, and a 35-year member of Crosspoint (Turnpike) Church of Christ, where he attends with his wife, Stephanie Martin Wooldridge, whose family has been in Grand Prairie for more than 70 years.
