Grand Prairie Fire Chief Robert Fite will go over the edge of a 15-story building in Dallas, rappelling down, to raise at least $1,000 for Special Olympics Texas on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The event, sponsored by Special Olympics Texas, is being conducted statewide to raise awareness and money (and your heart rate) to support more than 44,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes. Dallas-area participants will rappel down the Bank Tower at Oak Cliff, 400 S. Zang Blvd., in Dallas, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
