Writing the Ghosts of Texas

The Grand Prairie Main Library brings two Texas paranormal authors to speak on their experiences in a two-night program series. Hear from two authors who have traveled both the highways and small country roads of Texas chasing down rumors and tall tales to find out the truth about the ghosts of Texas.

Both programs begin at 7 pm. A selection of books will be available for sale.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 28 Meet Rita Cook, who wrote Haunted Fort Worth and Haunted Dallas. Rita is the author of more than 1,000 articles on various topics. Hauntings are a special interest, since she grew up in a house full of ghosts.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29 Meet Mitchel Whitington, author of Ghosts of North Texas, and Ghosts of East Texas, and editor of anthologies like Haunted Encounters. Mitchel is an author, editor, publisher, and public speaker.
