For all classes, the impoundment rate listed for the fourth impoundment shall apply if the number of impoundments within a 12 month period exceeds four (4).
Daily Handling Fee
For Class A & B, a $10.00 fee will be charged for every day, or fraction thereof, that an animal is at the animal shelter. For Class C & D, a $15.00 fee will be charged for every day, of fraction thereof, that an animal is at the animal shelter.
ID Tag
It is required by law that your pet wear a current rabies and identification tag at all times. An ID tag is a small metallic or plastic tag attached to your pet's collar that includes your name, address and phone number.
No I.D. Tag Fee
Any dog or cat must be wearing an I.D. tag containing the name, address, and telephone number. A $10.00 fee will be charged if an animal is impounded without an I.D. tag.
Microchip Fee
Any dog or cat that is reclaimed must be microchipped prior to leaving the animal shelter. The microchip fee is $15.00 and includes registration of the chip.
