Step 1.Create Customer Self-Service Account

Creating a Customer Self-Service account will allow us to invoice you for the registration fee and ensure the licensing is added to the correct account with the City of Grand Prairie.

Step 2.Review Requirements

The following is required to complete registration:

  • Company information
  • Completed application
  • $75 registration fee

To apply in person, please fill out the sign contractor registration form(PDF, 25KB). Bring the completed form and a $75 registration fee to the Building Inspections Division at City Hall.

What happens next?

After Building Inspections Divisions staff processes your registration, an invoice will be emailed to you for the $75 registration fee. You can pay the fee online through your Customer Self-Service account; or you can pay in person to the Grand Prairie Building Inspections Division, 300 W. Main Street, during regular business hours, or mail a check to: Building Inspections Division, P.O. Box 534045, Grand Prairie, TX 75053.
