The Grand Prairie Fire Department Emergency Medical Services Division is responsible for the coordination and of the Department’s EMS system. The EMS system is designed to meet the out-of-hospital emergency medical care needs of the citizens and visitors to the City of Grand Prairie.

Grand Prairie Fire Department ambulances are staffed with 2 firefighter/paramedics 24 hours per day that respond to medical emergencies, major accidents, and many other types of emergency medical calls. They also respond to structure fires to assist with medical needs of victims and/or firefighters.

Strategically located throughout the City’s fire stations, our ambulances are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment and highly-trained personnel capable of performing a variety of life-saving procedures.

Pay Ambulance Bill

For dates of service prior to November 1st, 2024, please contact the Grand Prairie EMS Billing Office or visit the online link to pay an ambulance fee.

Ambulance Subscription Program

Auxiliary Ambulance Application

To apply for an Auxiliary Ambulance Permit, please fill out the Auxiliary Ambulance Permit Application.

Request Medical Report

To request a medical report for dates of service prior to November 1st, 2024 visit submit a Medical Records Request online or visit the Incident Report Requests page for more information.

To request medical records for dates of service on or after November 1st, 2024, please download, complete, and submit the Patient Records Request Form(PDF, 129KB).

  • Fax the request (secure and direct) to 800-608-9457
  • Mail the request to PO Box 180446, Dallas, TX  75218
  • To email a request, we need to create a secure, encrypted email channel to receive your form. Please email records@emergicon.com with general information that you need to request records, and you will receive a secure email from us to use for the request process.
