This Grand Prairie SH-161 Corridor Plan is an extension of the 2018 City of Grand Prairie Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range planning tool intended to be used by city staff, decision-makers, and citizens to guide the growth and physical development of the community for the next 10 to 20 years.
The area analysis included evaluating existing conditions, identifying alternative land use opportunities, and a performance assessment of the city's industrial sector. The purpose of this study is to identify sector priorities and market potential to establish a corridor vision.
