Texas Stream Team is a network of trained volunteers and supportive partners working together to gather information about the natural resources of Texas and to ensure the information is available to all Texans.
Partners collect critical information about water quality that supports local and state resource managers in scientifically sound decision making. Once trained, volunteers need to dedicate only one hour a month to monitor a stream of their choice.
To learn how you or your organization can become a Texas Stream Team volunteer monitor, contact Otilia Law at olaw@gptx.org or call 972-237-8224.
