Park and Ride

The park and ride facility at eastbound Interstate 30, just east of Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie, provides 328 free parking spaces for commuters who wish to carpool and leave their cars parked for the day.

Carpoolers from the park and ride now have easy access to I-30 HOV lanes, which opened in August 2016.

The park and ride was a joint venture between the Regional Transportation Council, City of Grand Prairie and the Texas Department of Transportation. The city added a 233-foot "Prairie Ribbon" mural made of recycled glass tiles to the east retaining wall.

Directions to Grand Prairie Park and Ride

From Fort Worth/Arlington on Eastbound IH 30:

  1. Take Exit 34 for Belt Line Road
  2. Keep right for IH 30 Frontage Road
  3. Enter the facility on the right

From Dallas/Irving on Westbound on IH 30:

  1. Take Exit 34 for Belt Line Road
  2. Merge onto IH 30 Frontage Road
  3. Take the Texas U-turn from the left lane to get on the Eastbound IH 30 Frontage Road
  4. Enter the facility on the right
