The Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) provides assistance to low-income residents of Dallas County. The purpose of the program is to reduce household energy usage, address health and safety needs, and to offer minor home repairs through the installation of approved weatherization materials. The application for the weatherization program is available online at Dallas County Weatherization webpage.
This program is income based and available for seniors, people with disabilities and families with young children.
