Main Library hosts Quiet Zone July 3 & 4

The Grand Prairie Main Library will host a Quiet Zone July 3 and 4th to help individuals and families avoid the stressful noise from fireworks. From 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., guests may use computers and checkout books in a quiet space. Sensory activities are available for young children. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • July 3: Main Library normal hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Quiet Zone is from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • July 4: Main Library closed for the Independence Day holiday. Quiet Zone is from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
