Have you always wanted to learn Spanish? Or maybe you've had a few lessons, but want to improve your conversational skills? The Grand Prairie Libraries offer both in-person and online lessons.

Kids Basic Spanish Class (Ages 8-14) Beginner classes taught by a professor from Tarrant County College. Registration: Email cplemmons@gptx.org starting August 8. Note: Registration closes August 22.

  • Thursdays, 4:50- 5:30 p.m. Warmack Library: Aug. 22- Oct. 24.

Adult Basic Spanish Class Beginner classes taught by a professor from Tarrant County College. Seats are limited – first come, first served.

  • Thursdays, 5:40-7:00 p.m. Warmack: Aug. 22-Oct. 24.

Transparent Language Online

Learn Spanish at your own pace with Transparent Language Online, an online learning platform free with your Grand Prairie library card.  Whether you’re starting at the very beginning with a new alphabet or you’re an intermediate learner looking to enhance your vocabulary and grammar knowledge, Transparent Language Online can help. 

Multiple courses are available, from essentials to vocabulary to advanced. Improve your speaking skills with Real World and conversational courses. 100 more languages are also available.
